Aquaman Says "Fuck Marvel!"

So here's a funny little story, at a convention recently, Jason Mamoa (DC's Aquaman) was asked to sign a poster and also give a statement about DC vs Marvel hubub, he in return decided to sign a poster saying "Fuck Marvel". First of all, damn that is some fancy-ass writing for a simple insult. Second of all, people flipped about this, everyone saying this is jealousy or ignorance or childish or unwarranted, basically a lot of Marvel fanboys were really upset by this. Here's the thing guys...IT'S A JOKE! Obviously Mamoa doesn't hate Marvel or even think there is this kind of rivalry between them, someone wanted him to make a statement, he's at a convention, everyone's having a good time, he decides to make a little bit of playful banter and say "Fuck Marvel" obviously not meaning anything serious by it. Now when it comes to both movies and comics, i'm a Marvel guy, i love Marvel and do genuinely think it's better than DC (Except in TV where DC is king) so i see this on my Facebook feed and I have a good chuckle at it because anyone with half a brain can tell it's not meant to be taken seriously. And A lot of people forget, Robert Downey Jr made a similar comment several years ago, and everybody had a good laugh about it, you know why? Because it was a joke, banter between rivals. You know, the same way how boxers diss each other before a match, it's all good fun, DC and Marvel have been rivals for decades and they've had plenty of jokes like this between each other, whether it be comics, cartoons, tv shows or movies, if you're genuinely offended by this then guess what, you're taking this more seriously than the people who are actually told to go fuck themselves, so go fuck yourself.
