Bonfire Night is the most ironic holiday ever

How many people watch V For Vendetta without realising it's based on Guy Fawkes? Probably just Americans. But yeah, Guy Fawkes night on the 5th of November, it's a real thing, also known as Bonfire night. It celebrates the failed terrorist attack a couple hundred years ago where Guy Fawkes and his friends tried to blow up parliment, basically, we prevented British 9/11 (Or 11/5 I guess) and how do we celebrate a failed terrorist attack? By setting of fireworks which are pretty much colourful explosions...wow we have an ironic sense of passion...
