Loki Is Not A Good Villain

Marvel Studios sucks when it comes to their villains, Whiplash, Red Skull, Malekith, they suck, the only good villain in the MCU in my opinion is Vincent D'onofrio as Wilson Fisk. But, most people would disagree with me and say the best villain is Loki, to that, i say nay. Don't get me wrong, Tom Hiddleston is a very good actor and Loki is a very entertaining character, but as a villain, he sucks. In the first Thor film he's supposed to be a good guy turned bad but there's no proper build up too it, he finds out he's a frost giant (A plot point that has been completely forgotten about by the way) and suddenly he wants to rule Asgard and betray his brother...why!? Yes a rivalry has always been there between them and they've been destined to fight for the crown, but Thor is his brother, they grew up together, played together, fought together, why does he suddenly have no feelings for him? Even then, he constantly goes on about how it is his right to rule Asgard, yet he literally has no right to rule it, he's the youngest in his family, he's not royal by blood and he's not even part of the same friggin species, not to mention in the few days he was in charge he was shit at his job so he is the furthest from rightfully being crowned.

Then in The Avengers his master plan is to rule the world...just because? His plan is halfbaked, how is he supposed to rule the Earth and more importantly why would he want to? Even his capture and planned escape was ridiculous, there was no purpose to it other than just to prove he could, just shine his ego a little bit. Except he should have no ego to begin with because he's not physically threatening to the Avengers, he's not smarter than them and every single Avenger kicks his ass individually. Then most recently in Thor: The Dark World they try to make him an anti-hero who's just a lost soul trying to redeem himself because fangirls will eat this shit up, the more appealing they make him, the more they want him. They couldn't even go through with killing him because of course that would upset the fangirls and you know, wouldn't want anything challenging for them or shocking to upset the equilibrium.

To sum it up, he's not stronger than the heroes, he's not smarter than the heroes, his motivations and end goal don't make any sense and his arc ended with The Avengers, now they're just forcing him into the movies because they know people want to see him, regardless of whether or not he's useful to the narrative. So, i repeat: LOKI-SUCKS!
